Dear Service Body Contacts,

Last week we made significant changes to our web site, including major updates to the Find A Meeting application. We are aware there are currently some issues with accessing meeting information. To locate an online meeting, please click here; to locate a telephone meeting, please click here. If you are seeking a face-to-face-meeting, you may use this directory to contact the intergroup/service board/region for your area to get assistance. You can also do an Internet search of Overeaters Anonymous in your specific area to find the local intergroup web site, which may include local meeting information. And you can, of course, call the WSO for assistance at 505-891-2664. We have also created a bug reporting system on our web site; we invite you to using this report to submit any issues you may encounter with our new redesign.

Below are additional suggestions:

  • Please be sure to delete any OA.org bookmarks you may have posted in your browser.  These bookmarks will not function appropriately.  Search for “Overeaters Anonymous” and use the new site as your current bookmark.
  • Try clearing your browser cache.  This can be located in the history dropdown or in preferences.
  • If you are using one of the templates the Web/Technology Committee created, these will no longer function.  We are currently working on new find a meeting scripts for intergroups/service boards using the web site templates.
  • WEBMASTERS: Please place a note on your web sites stating that the system is being updated and to click http://www.oa.org/membersgroups/find-a-meeting/ to find a meeting in your area.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this transition and resolve all issues as quickly as possible.
