Unity Day February 25th!

This year, Unity Day is celebrated in OA on February 25, 2012, all over the world. It reminds us that in our meeting room, or country, or region, or all over the world, we can remember that we are not alone. As the first Tradition says – “Our common welfare should come first, personal recovery depends upon OA unity.

The Traditions maintain group unity. A meeting format, meeting directory, and newsletter bring compulsive overeaters closer to each other. Service boards and group conscience, an OA Conference – these unify us in our fellowship.

As it’s written: “I put my hand in yours and together we can do what we could never do alone!” Let’s all celebrate, together, this very special day.

Region 9 Statement of Purpose

Our primary purpose is to carry the OA message to the still suffering compulsive overeater, wherever they may live and whatever language they may speak. In fulfilling our purpose we should ever strive to achieve worldwide unity and common policies among all countries. With love and tolerance as our code. Together we can do what we could never do alone.
